In 2009, we recognized a need for God-honoring dance education in the Pacific Northwest. In response, we launched Surrendered School of Dance a ministry extension of Paradosi Ballet Company. The school plays an essential role in fulfilling our mission by reaching the next generation for Jesus through the arts.

Our vision is to offer high-quality dance instruction to every student while fostering love, kindness, and joy as a catalyst for positive change. We seek to cultivate a deeper appreciation for dance while encouraging movement and motivation that glorify our Creator. When we teach students to dance, it is not only to help them grow artistically—but also to help them understand how their gifts can be used to worship God.

Although we are a faith-based organization, our school is open to everyone in the community, regardless of belief. We do not hide our faith—we express it freely through prayer, the reading of Scripture, and worship through dance.

In all we do, our heart is to disciple both students and their families by offering spiritual encouragement, a listening ear, and truth rooted in God’s Word. Whether through moments of prayer, life-giving conversations, or Christ-centered mentorship, we seek to reflect the love of Jesus in every interaction both inside and outside the studio.
